Billions of dollars are spent on housing support, and thousands of programs, incentives, and services already exist. But for many working families, especially middle-income households, help is still too hard to find, too hard to navigate, or too easy to assume is not meant for them.

Community-based organizations are doing critical work, but they are often left manually sorting through fragmented programs, misaligned applications, and overwhelming demand. At the same time, policymakers and program designers are often working from backward-lookingdata that shows the damage after it is done, not the resident-level strain building in real time.
